Dummy data can be used as a placeholder for both testing and operational purposes. For testing, dummy data can also be used as stubs or pad to avoid software testing issues by ensuring that all variables and data fields are occupied.
Yes, it's possible! There are 2 options:
1.Generate image urls - use function imageUrl()
2.Generate real image files - use function image()
You can indicate width and height of generated images, and what type of image to be generated, it can be one of the following categories: abstract, animals, business, cats, city, food, nightlife, fashion, people,nature, sports, technics, transport. If you choose to generate Real Image, please keep attention to the success message displayed after generation is complete. Here is provided a link to zip archive for downloading generated images.
Please use function foreignKey() from dropdown list. You have to indicate table name and table column as parameters.
The application will try to guess which table to use as parent table.
Please note that you cannot fill a column with values from another table if that table is empty. So you have first to generate data for parent table and then for the table with foreignKey.
On the Step2 page where you choose what type of data to be generated for selected table there's an optional dropdown next to the 'Number of rows to be generated' text input named 'Generate country specific Names/Addresses/PhoneNumbers', please select required country/language option before cliking on 'Generate Data' button.
